John Rowley has been portfolio manager of the initial assets of Coanjo Capital since 2007, and is the lead portfolio manager of the firm. Prior to founding Coanjo, John had 18 years of global institutional buy side experience at Oppenheimer Capital as a managing director, senior analyst for both long only and long/short products, leader of the firm's global technology sector investment team and as a member of the firm's portfolio construction team. Prior to joining Oppenheimer Capital in 1992, John worked on private equity investments in commercial real estate at Greystone and prior to that in corporate finance and M&A at Smith Barney. John is a CFA Charterholder and received an MBA from Wharton and a BA from Yale.
Colin Glinsman is the co-portfolio manager of the firm. Colin served Oppenheimer Capital (a unit of PIMCO since 1997 and of Allianz Global Investors and predecessors since 2000) for two decades in various capacities including analyst, portfolio manager, chief investment officer and chief executive officer. In addition he served on the board of directors of PIMCO. His responsibilities included serving as portfolio manager of the Oppenheimer Balanced fund for which he assumed responsibility in 1992 with $6 million in assets. The fund subsequently grew to over $7 billion based on exceptional investment results. Prior to joining Oppenheimer Capital in 1989, Colin spent 5 years working on cross border M&A assignments as an investment banker, member of a team that served both Morgan Grenfell and Prudential Securities. From 1980-1984 Colin worked as a public accountant. He received an MS in accounting from NYU and a BA in economics from Yale with honors.
